1. With this letter, the
client is hiring the contractors to design and create a World Wide
Web site (a "SITE") and to install the SITE on server
space on an Internet access provider's computer or to assist the
client in doing the same.
2. The term of this agreement is that we the contractors will provide
the client with the items listed in the deliverables section (see
attached) on the dates specified in the timeline (see attached).
The web pages will be created according to the mockups provided
(see attached).
3. The successful competition of this project is dependent on the
client supplying the contractors with the required content and feedback
according to the work schedule (see attached). All content must
be provided no later than October 3rd, 2002
4. Site will be developed as a test site and will not be put into
public domain by the students of the SRJC web team other than on
the JC server for development issues only. ACLU will gather permissions
to use images on site prior to the completed project being placed
on their server.
5. No fee will be charged, however the contractors request the following:
Attendance at the presentation of projects to be held at Santa Rosa
Junior College in mid- Dec. (Date to be announced)
Letters of reference (Client to provide prior to final presentation)
Credit at the bottom of home page for the contractors and the Santa
Rosa Junior College program.
Article in next newsletter about updated website and copies mailed
to contractors.
Use of samples of the website in contractors electronic portfolio
and use of samples of the website at the Santa Rosa Junior College
program websites.
The client will supply photos, drawings, text for the SITE. The
client affirms that they are the copyright owner of such materials
or that they have obtained proper permission from the copyright
owner(s) for use of such materials. The client will indemnify the
contractors and hold them harmless against any claims of libel,
copyright, or trademark infringement brought against the contractors
with respect to their use of those materials.
Either the contractor or client may terminate this contract by giving
written notice to the other party. |
